Sliggy Media Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all Clients and users of Catch, including anyone sending or receiving communications through the service. It forms part of the Terms of Service and the Client Service Agreement.
1. Permitted Use
Catch is for lawful customer-service communications, missed-call follow-up where authorized, service-request intake, and appointment scheduling. Clients may use Catch only for communications that comply with applicable laws, telecom regulations, carrier requirements, and this Policy.
2. No Spam or Cold Outreach
Clients must not use Catch to:
- Send unsolicited promotional or marketing messages.
- Conduct cold SMS outreach or mass texting campaigns.
- Contact purchased, rented, scraped, or improperly obtained phone-number lists.
- Send messages without legally and contractually sufficient consent.
- Continue messaging after a recipient opts out.
- Transfer messaging consent between unrelated businesses or campaigns.
- Use multiple numbers to evade carrier filtering or spam detection.
- Misrepresent the sender or purpose of a message.
A prior business relationship, a publicly available phone number, or a missed call does not automatically authorize every type of automated communication.
3. Prohibited Content and Industries
Catch must not be used for messaging involving prohibited or carrier-restricted activities, including:
- Illegal drugs or unlawful controlled substances.
- Cannabis, CBD, or related products where carrier policies prohibit them, even if legal under some state laws.
- Sexually explicit services, pornography, or adult sexual content.
- Hate speech, threats, harassment, or violence.
- Firearms, ammunition, and regulated weapons where carrier policies prohibit them.
- Tobacco, nicotine, vaping products, or related restricted promotions.
- Alcohol promotions where prohibited or not properly authorized.
- Gambling or betting where prohibited.
- Fraudulent financial offers, deceptive investment promotions, or prohibited lending and debt-relief activities.
- Third-party lead generation, affiliate marketing, or the sale or transfer of consumer messaging consent.
- Phishing, identity theft, impersonation, or deceptive communications.
- Any other content or use case prohibited by Twilio, carriers, or applicable law.
Some categories are prohibited entirely, while others are restricted by content, geography, age verification, or other requirements. A lawful business category is not automatically eligible for SMS delivery. Provider may reject or suspend any use case that violates provider or carrier requirements.
4. Consent and Opt-Out Requirements
Clients must obtain appropriate consent before sending messages. Consent must be specific to the sender, purpose, and message category, as required by law and carrier policy. Clients must keep records sufficient to demonstrate consent.
Every messaging program must provide clear opt-out instructions. Recipients must be able to opt out by replying STOP and by any other method the law or carriers require. Clients must not circumvent suppression lists or resume messaging without valid renewed consent.
5. AI and Automated Communications
Clients must not use Catch to:
- Deceive recipients about the identity of the business.
- Falsely claim that an AI assistant is a human representative.
- Generate fraudulent service estimates or misleading guarantees.
- Provide unauthorized professional advice.
- Make emergency-response commitments that cannot be fulfilled.
- Collect sensitive information unrelated to the legitimate service request.
- Use AI-generated content for harassment, discrimination, or unlawful purposes.
Clients remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated information and correcting inaccurate business instructions.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Clients must collect and process End Customer information lawfully. Clients must not submit payment card details, government ID numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information unless Provider has specifically authorized it and appropriate safeguards are in place. Clients must not attempt to access another Client's information.
Mobile phone numbers and messaging consent information must not be sold, rented, or shared for third-party marketing.
7. Platform Security
Users must not:
- Attempt unauthorized system access.
- Distribute malware or malicious code.
- Interfere with service infrastructure.
- Abuse APIs or telecom resources.
- Circumvent usage limits or security controls.
- Conduct unauthorized security testing.
- Use Catch to facilitate unlawful activity.
8. Monitoring and Enforcement
Provider may investigate suspected violations using information reasonably necessary for security, compliance, and service operation. Where law and contract permit, Provider may:
- Warn a Client about suspected violations.
- Restrict particular messaging capabilities.
- Suspend affected phone numbers or accounts.
- Require evidence of consent or business legitimacy.
- Terminate service for material or repeated violations.
- Cooperate with lawful requests from carriers, regulators, or law enforcement.
Provider may act immediately where necessary to prevent unlawful communications, security incidents, or significant carrier penalties.
9. Carrier Rules
Clients must comply with Twilio and carrier requirements, including updated messaging policies and registration rules. Provider may modify this Policy when reasonably necessary to comply with changes in law or carrier rules, and will communicate material changes as law or contract requires.
10. Reporting Violations
